Online Resources for Targeting Graduate Programs

Once you have narrowed down your choices, take the time to evaluate each grad school program:

  • Consider the focus of each program and courses available
  • Evaluate the overall cost and investigate the assistantships/fellowships available
  • Learn about the job opportunities upon graduation of an advanced degree
  • Find out details about housing options, along with info about the surrounding community, geographic location, and other areas that might be of concern to you
  • Plan for a visit to the campus; talk to faculty and current graduate students in those programs
  • Apply to the Universities that best compliment your career, educational goals and your individual situation.
